A decadent dish made for celebrations, late-night cravings, or just because.
This recipe brings bold coastal flavor to your kitchen, featuring Dungeness crab tossed in a luscious garlic butter sauce with the zesty punch of Lovejoy’s Bloody Mary Mix. It’s spicy, buttery, and ridiculously craveable.
Ingredients:
-
1 whole Dungeness crab (about 2 lbs), cleaned and broken into pieces
-
1 stick (8 Tbsp) unsalted butter
-
4–6 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
-
2 Tbsp Lovejoy’s Bloody Mary Mix (Classic or Thai Basil—your call)
-
1 tsp cracked black pepper (use a mortar & pestle for max flavor)
-
¼ tsp sugar
Instructions:
-
Clean and break the crab into smaller pieces. Lightly crack the larger legs and claws so the sauce can seep in and make eating easier later.
-
In a wok or large sauté pan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (don’t let it brown).
-
Stir in the cracked pepper and Lovejoy’s Bloody Mary Mix.
-
Add the crab and fold everything together so the crab gets coated in that spicy, buttery goodness.
-
Sprinkle in the sugar and fold again to combine evenly.
-
Transfer everything to a baking dish or cookie sheet and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
-
Serve piping hot with crusty bread, jasmine rice, or straight from the pan with your fingers (we won’t judge).
Pro tip: It pairs perfectly with a chilled Lovejoy’s Bloody Mary, rimmed and garnished to your heart’s desire.
