Lovejoy’s "Smackin" Bloody Roasted Crab Recipe by Known Foodie, Susanne Lovejoy

1 Dungeness Crab (about 2 lbs)


1 stick unsalted butter/8 tablespoons


4-6 cloves garlic (chopped coarsely)


2 tablespoons of Lovejoy’s Bloody Mary Mix

1 teaspoon of black pepper (cracked using a mortar and pestle)


1/4 teaspoon sugar

 Clean and break the crab into small pieces. Crack the large pieces to make it easier when eating it piping hot and so the sauce can seep into the meat. Heat up the butter in a wok (between medium to low heat) and sauté the garlic until aromatic, but not brown. Add in the black peppers, Lovejoy’s Bloody Mary Mix, and then add in the crab and fold it in. Sprinkle in the sugar, folding the crab to coat it thoroughly.

Dish it on to a cookie sheet or baking dish. Bake it at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve hot. Love and enjoy!
